Letter from Executive Director
Welcome to Philadelphia VIP!
VIP provides free civil legal services to low income clients by recruiting and training volunteer lawyers to handle pro bono cases. We also assist non-profit organizations and small businesses that serve the needs of low income people through our LawWorks project.
2010 marks 29 years of service to the Philadelphia community-a milestone we are pleased to celebrate because of the many people who have helped VIP along the way.
However, this anniversary also reminds us of how much work there is still to be done. Ensuring access to justice for all is a momentous task, but with collaborative effort we can accomplish this goal.
I hope you'll join us! We are thankful for the ongoing support of our volunteers, our funders and the Philadelphia community. This is an exciting time at VIP and we look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
Sara Woods
